How do you know how much isolate powder to use, how do you measure it or weigh it?? Articles have mentioned vaping is less potent than tinctures or concentrates. Can you mix the Isolate w a tincture to vape it or use to cook with? The propylene glycol & vegetable glycerine mixing w isolate powder, how do you figure out what percentage of each? With a powder, how can it be compared to a liquid? Por instance, how might one achieve 50% Isolate in their 50/50 concocotion, 50% liquid (tinture or mentioned VG & PG)? I read mixing it w MCT oil is good. Do I still need the veg glycerine VG & propylene glycol PG? Can you heat it up, let it cool some then use like drops sublingually? How hot & for how long?

Having trouble sleeping? This Gold CBD Oil from Herbal Renewals could be just what you’re looking for. One of the world’s strongest and purest CBD concentrates, it’s available in three handy sizes. The concentrate is first absorbed sublingually (under your tongue), so you’ll start to feel its effects after ten to fifteen minutes. However, its thick consistency does mean it can take some time to absorb in your stomach. But when it does, it delivers a long-lasting and soothing calm—ideal for a good night’s rest.
I think being safe to eat is a moot point. These are topical products. I don’t think anybody is buying to eat them. It’s just a marketing tactic. In regards to the chapsticks, unless you were trying to literally eat the chapstick I think whatever negligible amount may make it past your lips and into your mouth, would certainly not be a health concern from any of these products. What concerns me more is there is zero efficacy with all of these products. Do they just decide over breakfast how much CBD needs to be added for the dosage to work? It’s ridiculous that they are marketing it as safe to eat, and people are buying into that bs and providing no clinical studies or research at all. Just my 2 cents
Some individuals have been found to have mutations on the CNR1 gene, which is responsible for coding the CB1 receptor (a type of receptor in cells throughout your body that interacts with cannabinoids). Issues with the CNR1 gene can ultimately result in a poorly functioning endocannabinoid system, which is an important variable when figuring out how to use CBD oil.
I suffered from severe eczema as a child and, thankfully, grew out of it for the most part. Eczema is skin with a weak barrier that makes the sufferer’s skin much more open to irritants and allergens, causing a lot of discomfort. This irritation/allergic reaction leads to itching, bacterial infections, over-moisturizing which can lead to yeast overgrowth, etc. Once the chain reaction is set off, it is very difficult to stop. As a child, my parents would come in after I went to sleep, slather my legs with aquaphor and wrap them in ace bandages. It was a sticky mess but somewhat effective. To soothe my dry and easily irritated adult skin (as well as my arthritis), I make a cannabis product wth beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, and a handful of healing herbs. Beeswax is a great barrier/protectant and has other beneficial properties. The Shea butter is very similar to sebum in our skin so acts to supplement our natural protection.
CBD IS AN ABBREVIATION FOR CANNABIDIOL, A CHEMICAL COMPOUND FOUND NATURALLY IN THE HEMP PLANT. IT IS NOT MIND ALTERING LIKE MARIJUANA, WHICH MEANS CBD OIL WILL NOT MAKE YOU HIGH. OVER THE PAST 40 YEARS THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS STUDIES THAT HIGHLIGHT THE POTENTIAL OF CBD. RESEARCHERS DISCOVERED THE HUMAN ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM (ECS), WHICH IS THE SYSTEM THAT CBD INTERACTS WITH.
Sagely Naturals tests its products three times: the raw cannabidiol is evaluated by extractors, then by another third party lab. Finally, when the company receives the final product, Sagely randomly selects bottles to test for the third and final time. These tests ensure that the product is devoid of GMOs, solvents, chemicals, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, and THC.

Under federal law, cannabis (from which both CBD and marijuana are derived) is illegal everywhere, although the laws against it aren’t generally enforced in states that have legalized marijuana. Some manufacturers claim that CBD culled from legally imported industrial hemp, which has little to no THC, is fine to ship across the U.S., but many experts disagree, noting that because hemp comes from the same species as marijuana, cannabis sativa, all CBD falls under the DEA’s Schedule 1 designation. “This creative interpretation of the law runs afoul of reality,” says the Brookings Institution, a Washington, DC, think tank.

Some companies will hide under a cloak of darkness that the Internet can provide, but it’s a pretty good sign if the company lists an honest-to-goodness phone number you can use to reach real people. The companies with inferior products will often be very difficult to reach. Before ordering, try to reach out to the company. If someone picks up the phone or gets back to you in a timely manner, you’ve probably found a company that not only takes accountability seriously, but cares about their customers and the quality of their products.
Hemp produced in Europe is generally of good quality, according to Evan Kopelson, who has been a medical cannabis industry consultant for the past eight years. He notes in an article on Linkedin that until recently, when the USDA began allowing hemp to be certified organic, buying from Europe was the only way to be sure that CBD oil was pesticide-free. While laws have since allowed American companies to certify their hemp organic, some great CBD oil companies still source from Europe, so don't count them out of your search.
