This may be a good place to point out that not all CBD products are created equal. The industry is still largely unregulated, and the quality and quantity of CBD in a given product will vary wildly. You should also keep an eye out for "full-spectrum" oils, which contain not just CBD, but a full range of cannabinoids – including trace amounts of THC. This won't be enough to make you high (and shouldn't even be enough to show up on drug tests), but it will allow you to reap the benefits of not just CBD but the "full spectrum" of cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant, producing what some experts have begun calling "the entourage effect."
Most human studies of CBD have been done on people who have seizures, and the FDA recently approved the first CBD-based drug, Epidiolex, for rare forms of epilepsy.
