Our CBD Hemp Oils are extracted from our own proprietary strain of hemp grown specifically for pets, PR-33.  This strain is grown at the largest certified USDA organic hemp farm in the United States. Our joint-partnership with our farmers allows us to have complete control over our hemp plants, from seed to sale, from plant to pet we know exactly what’s going into the products you’re giving your pets.
CBD Oil, derived from agricultural hemp, has been widely recognized for its many benefits on human health. It has grown in popularity amongst the medical community as a key supplement for maintaining homeostasis. Because CBD oil has the ability to talk to nearly every organ system in the body via the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) this plant-based nutrient plays a key role in optimizing balance and enhancing quality of life.
Topicals are applied right to trouble areas so that the CBD oil can work directly where it’s needed most. Ingesting CBD products orally causes CBD and other compounds to enter the blood stream, which elicits full-body effects and takes up to 2 hours or more before those effects are experienced. With CBD topicals, the healing compound and other hemp-derived nutrients are almost immediately absorbed directly through your skin, allowing them to be target the affected area for quicker and more focused effects.
At the end of the extraction process, you’re left with a cannabis concentrate. Depending on the form in which you choose to keep the cannabis concentrate (e.g., solid, semi-solid, liquid), you can then make things like shatter, wax, oil, and tincture. But if you want to make CBD isolate, you’ll need to refine that concentrate a little bit more with a process called winterization.
Figuring out how much CBD oil to take can feel like trying to navigate through a complicated maze. The sheer volume of CBD brands on the market can create confusion for consumers, and when you take a closer look, it’s not difficult to understand why. Not only do vendors use different source materials (CBD-rich cannabis vs. industrial hemp, different strains, etc.), but they also implement different extraction techniques .
Hi Marilyn, I would recommend a topical lotion or salve to start for instant relief.. Maybe 250 to 300 mg tincture to see how you feel. For me, the salve took the pain in my hands away in under a minute. I didn't notice how much the tincture worked until I forgot to take on vacation. Pain that was pretty much gone but came back, I was tired, grumpy and felt horrible. It works, just need to find right product and dosage for you.
"It’s been shown that THC and CBD, when combating the myriad of symptoms and disease states, have a synergistic relationship," explains Steve Looi, Director of Origination at White Sheep Corp., a Toronto-based cannabis commercial operator and strategic investor with holdings in Canada and the US. "The compounds are more effective in each other’s presence than they would be if taken alone."
Cannabidiol is currently a class B1 controlled drug in New Zealand under the Misuse of Drugs Act. It is also a prescription medicine under the Medicines Act. In 2017 the rules were changed so that anyone wanting to use it could go to the Health Ministry for approval. Prior to this, the only way to obtain a prescription was to seek the personal approval of the Minister of Health.
It was previously believed that CBD in its isolated form was more potent and concentrated than full spectrum CBD; however, in 2015, the theory was debunked by a study from the Lautenberg Center for General Tumor Immunology in Jerusalem. In the study, researchers administered full spectrum CBD and CBD isolate to two different groups of mice. When comparing the data of the two groups, the results proved that the group administered with full spectrum CBD were provided with higher levels of relief. Furthermore, the study demonstrated that full spectrum CBD continued to provide relief as the dose increased, while CBD Isolate did not provide the same effect when there was an increase in dosage.

Nano-emulsification is what makes all-natural CBD become water-soluble and more bio-available. Nano-amplified CBD, such as Isodiol’s CBD Nano Ultra™, dramatically affects the absorbability of large, fat-soluble molecules like CBD. Typically with CBD consumer products, 90% or more of the CBD is wasted because the body simply cannot absorb it. That’s because CBD particles, like all phytocannabinoids, measure about 2,000 nanometers. Human cells can only absorb particles of 60-80 nanometers. A cell cannot fully utilize a particle larger than itself.

If you live in a state where CBD is legal for your condition, it’s best to buy it from a state-regulated dispensary. But even there, oversight is uneven. “I feel safe being a cannabis consumer in Colorado, since the state tracks everything from seed to sale, but I didn’t the first few years after cannabis became legal,” when the rules were still taking shape, says Robyn Griggs Lawrence, the Boulder author of The Cannabis Kitchen Cookbook, which features recipes for cannabis edibles.
The increased popularity of CBD has led many users to raise questions about the methods of extracting and administering CBD. The main question is which form provides the most effective range of medical benefits for the user. The two most common forms of extracted CBD found in stores are full-spectrum (whole-plant extract) and pure CBD isolate. Most users prefer the full-spectrum option. As CBD's usefulness for medical purposes has become more accepted over the years, new methods of administering it have continued to evolve.

I am in a pain management program and I was told that they test for cannabiniols across the board so even though there is no THC I could still test positive and be kicked out of the program. This is so unfair because CBC has been the best thing for PTSD anxiety and depression instead they would rather me be on multiple drugs with multiple bad side effects. Even though it’s legal in KY we re still in the dack ages. Any thoughts or help on this I would greatly appreciate how to get around it.

We proudly call ourselves NuLeaf “Naturals” because our cannabis oils are 100% organic, free of additives and preservatives. There is a lot of confusion out there. Both industrial hemp & marijuana are separate strains of the cannabis plant (hemp is c. sativa and marijuana can be either other strains of c. sativa or c. indica–marijuana has much, much more THC than hemp, which has little-to-none). The site is reviewing only CBD oils made from industrial hemp (more expensive from flower, cheaper & weaker from seeds & stalks) because those are the only kinds of CBD oil one can buy in all 50 states anywhere (not just licensed dispensaries), whether the state allows recreational weed, medical marijuana with an official cannabis ID card, or no marijuana whatsoever for any purpose.

Cost is another consideration. Most CBD oils are sold in concentrations of 300 to 750 mg, although this may range from less than 100 mg to more than 2,000. A good indicator of price-point is the cost per milligram. Low-cost CBD oils usually fall between five and 10 cents per mg; mid-range prices are 11 to 15 cents per mg; and higher-end oils cost 16 cents per mg or higher. Given these varying per-milligram costs, a bottle of CBD oil may be priced anywhere from $10 or less to $150 or more.

The CBD isolate extraction process produces a botanical concentrate that includes the cannabinoids, fatty acids, and other plant material found naturally in hemp plants. The CBD hemp oil is then purified using a proprietary process to filter plant material and then winterized (bioindustry speak for the cooling down of oil to remove impurities) to remove excess waxes, producing a pure isolate powder with 99% pure Cannabidiol.
Cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive segment of the marijuana plant, has created huge enthusiasm among researchers and physicians.  CBD Oil applies its remedial effect on an atomic level is as yet being sorted out. Cannabidiol is a pleiotropic sedate in that it produces numerous impacts through various atomic pathways. CBD Oil acts through different receptor-free channels and by official with various non-cannabinoid receptors and particle channels.
